The Challenge: In offices, there are workspaces and spaces where people come together casually to eat and catch up. What happens in between? These in between spaces — Bespaces — are not as formal as the office and not as casual as the cafe. Yet it is here where creativity and knowledge often come together. Qdesign challenged JSI to think about the space first and let that define how the furniture would be designed.

Problem Solved: Molded plywood was used to revive a mid-century modern look in this broad furniture collection that links “me” spaces to “we” spaces. The extensive line includes an array of customizable lounge and bench seating that is complimented by bent ply bookcases and storage. Wood finishes in white oak and walnut, along with 11 paint options and four metal colors give designers tons of flexibility to create the perfect Bespaces.
