The Challenge: How do you create a privacy panel and take the complexity out of it from a manufacturing process? That is just one of the design challenges behind Iso, a collection that combines the comfort of a lounge chair with partitions for privacy.

Problem Solved: The design team used sheets of upholstered Masonite with a live hinge between the panels that allow them to be folded in half. The panels are locked in underneath, which makes them easy to gang and reduces manufacturing costs. Seating and panel elements can be configured to create stand-alone modules, clusters of single-user spaces or expand into multi-user settings.
